Volunteer (VIPS)

You can become a Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS)! Our needs vary throughout the year, but can include activities like:

• reading with students
• making copies for teachers
• shelving books in the library
• supporting students during lunch

All volunteers must pass an online background check before they start. We also request that volunteers log their volunteer hours, which helps us plan for different needs and benchmark against other schools. This process is explained in detail on the district-level VIPS website.​​​​​​​
